Resolved Question: I am looking for a good website or help to figure out a sea creature I spotted in Florida.?

Last year while walking on the beach just before the sunset in Pompano, Fl I spotted the strangest looking serpeant like sea creature I have ever seen. It was about 2 feet long with a skinny body and a snout also it had kind of a dragon looking head. It looked kind of between a cross of a sea snake or an eel. It had beatiful coloring of deep blue and green(kind of the same colors of a mahi fish). It was washed up on shore but still alive and squirming. Another beachgoer stopped to look and said he had never seen anything like it either. When he picked the creature up it stiffened straight like a stick, the man throw it back into the ocean but it washed right back to shore.
